Grant proposals for the Two Harbors Area Fund are due March 1. Grants available range from $500 to $5,000, and support projects in the arts, civic projects, education, environment and human services. Interested nonprofits can also apply to the LaBounty Family Fund, which is dedicated to providing assistance to projects that promote economic development in the Two Harbors area. Those proposals are also due March 1. To qualify for the funds, nonprofits must be classified as a charitable organization under code 501(c)(3) or an organization under code 107(c)(1).

ReVisioning Two Harbors will host its monthly community forum on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at the Two Harbors Community Center. A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will go 6-8 p.m. The meeting will be a hands-on working meeting, building on the ideas explored at January's meeting, led by Greg Wright of Grand Marais. The meeting touched on many topics, but regularly came back to developing a common goal for community members to help revitalize the community.
