It’s true. I’m not a walleye fanatic. By the time the fishing opener comes along I’ve pretty much already exhausted myself, and all of my mental health days, on steelhead fishing.
I’m what you’d call the occasional walleye angler.

05/08/2008 12:00 AM The 134th running of the Kentucky Derby is in the books and it turned out to be quite a day. However, the tremendous race and subsequent finish were quickly marred as it was learned that the only filly in the event, Eight Belles, who also finished second in the field of big boys, broke both front ankles shortly after her big finish and had to be euthanized right on the track. Word spread quickly and the jubilant mood of the record crowd soon turned somber. Big Brown was the winner, and made it look fairly simple.
