Take one part shooting into the sun, add two parts lake effect, and the resulting photograph is out of this world. When the weather is misbehaving in any way, that's when the best photo opportunities usually present themselves. This was shot last Sunday, when the temperatures were well below zero. Frigid air, colliding with the warmer waters of Lake Superior, create an almost-eerie mist.
