New shop on Scenic block
Bruce Wright has been involved in quite a few different businesses during his lifetime but his only prior experience in the food industry was back when he was a teenager. “I ran the Scenic Café for a summer,” Wright said. “I did all the cooking, peeled all the potatoes.” That was back when it was a drive-in, complete with car hops.

Lou’s Fish gets ink in national magazine
Last summer, Brian Zapolski, the owner of Lou’s Fish House in Two Harbors, was called and told to send some of his smoked fish to Martha Stewart and her chefs so they could try it out and see how good it was. A writer and photographer from her magazine then came to visit.
