“Watercolors,” an exhibit of paintings by Barbara Lundell, are on display at Vanilla Bean Café in Two Harbors through Sept. 13. The show features North Shore scenes inspired by the artist’s enjoyment of the area the past 20 years.

That dish sure is fast
The Children’s Theater of Two Harbors presented “Mother Goose” and “The Dish Ran Away with the Spoon” April 10 and 11. Forty young people from Two Harbors participated in the production as stage hands, singers, performers and more.

Go see pirates, plants, and spoons
Want your kids to eat more healthfully? The production “Pirates of the Carrot Bean” hits the stage in Silver Bay at 7 p.m. Thursday (April 15) at the William Kelley Elementary School gymnasium. There will be a school performance April 13 for students.

Art students shown new skills
Local artist Sandi Pillsbury Gredzens is at it again – she has taught art for 30 years, including in the Lake Superior School District – teaching Two Harbors High School students about water coloring as part of an artist-in-residence program this month.
