At 15 below zero Tuesday morning (12/14/08), with wind chills of 33 below zero, the steam formed rime when it arrived on shore, changing the landscape into something almost other-worldly.

Reports from other trails systems from Korkki Nordic to the Erkki Harju in Two Harbors and the Northwoods in Silver Bay are all stellar. We’re finally having a normal, snowy winter in Lake County.
