Our eye-spy photographer Paul Sundberg caught him hitching a ride from the North Pole on the American Integrity when it came into Two Harbors Saturday evening. We are told he was checking on chimneys up and down the shore in Lake County before his big night tonight. He assured us that this time he’ll be coming on his sleigh, as the elves were making last-minute repairs until earlier this week.
  • Santa and Mrs. Claus gave gifts to about 100 children at the Two Harbors American Legion Sunday. Gifts were donated by community members through the Two Harbors Ministerial Association.

  • People gathered around a bonfire near the Two Harbors Light Station Tuesday night to celebrate the winter solstice with ancient stories, songs, poems, and drum beating.
