  • It wasn’t even close. The Lake County board just got into its groove in the smoosh smackdown Saturday as the city council team turned the corner and breezed home as part of the races during the Winter Frolic.
  • Faith Scamehorn was named Little Miss Winter Frolic last week. She was crowned by outgoing Little Miss Sarah Fjeran. Scamehorn won by writing an essay on why she loves winter.
  • Amber Gradine was named Miss Winter Frolic last week and was crowned by outgoing Miss, Tara McLaughlin. Gradine won because of the amount of Winter Frolic buttons she sold.
