Elizabeth Anne(Betsy)Tatman Ramsdell, 66, of Isabella, passed away Aug. 8, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth after a long and valiant struggle with cancer.
Betsy was born in Virginia and graduated from Hampton High School in
Hampton, Va. in 1965. She worked at the Veterans Hospital in Silver Bay and at Pizza Hut in Two Harbors. Her interests included painting, shopping, travelling, reading, seeing her grandchildren, and spending time with her husband Lee at their house on the beach in Mexico and at their cabin on the lake in Isabella, Minn.
Betsy is survived by her loving husband Lee Ramsdell; two sons, Ben Ray (Kelly) and Ross Ray (Kathy); stepsons Patrick Ramsdell (Terri) and Larry Ramsdell (Jenny), step-daughter Angie Ramsdell; grandchildren Courtney and Benjamin Ray, Karah and Ben Minelli, Aurora and Airen Ramsdell, Cody, Boone, and Sawyer Ramsdell; one sister Marilyn Jones (Bob); sister-in-law
Cheryl Jurek (Jerry); nephews and nieces, John Hunter, Laurel Anne Hunter, Jon Jurek, and Ann Altmanand many cousins.
Betsy was predeceased by her parents Claude and Mary Alice Tatman and
her father and mother-in-law, Aaron and Evelyn Ramsdell.

The family will receive friends at the Lakeview Golf Course clubhouse on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 6–9 p.m.
