Todd A. Davis, age 44 of Cloquet, passed away June 18, 2013.
He was born August 3, 1968 in Duluth to Anthony and JoAnn (Wycoff) Davis.
Todd enjoyed fishing, hunting, pow wows and loved being outdoors.
When in high school he played football, basketball and hockey. When he was younger, Todd spent many winters working the ski hills of Lutsen Mountain.
He also ventured into the life of casino worker and worked as a security
officer, vault cashier and blackjack dealer. He had many different jobs, all of which he enjoyed. Todd is an enrolled member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
Todd was well-liked, easy to get along with and his friends refer to him as "the most amazing man", "polite", and "having a gentle soul".
Todd died as a result of his long battle with alcoholism. He will be sadly missed by all his family and all those who ever knew him.
Todd is survived by his parents, Cliff and JoAnn Struve of Silver Bay and Anthony J. Davis of Onamia, Minn.; three sons,
Tyler Davis of Andover, Minn., Trevor Spry of Sand stone, Minn., and Rylan Davis of Silver Bay; siblings, Gina Benson of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Mike Struve (Teresa) of Largo, Fla., Pam (John) Feldt of Silver Bay, Paula (Mark) Goutermont of Silver Bay and Matthew (Leanne) Struve of Ramsey, Minn.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was Monday, June 24, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Memorials are referred to the Outreach Center in Cloquet.
