Frank Plennart passed away in January 2012, at his home.
He was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. on Jan. 26, 1959.
Frank was a character. He rode the rails, slept under bridges, and finally ended up in Two Harbors in June of 1995, where he bought a small piece of land outside of town and lived until he passed away.
He enjoyed astronomy, coin collecting, fishing, playing pool and canoeing -- once from Two Harbors to Grand Marais—and relaxing, which he was very good at!
Frank was cremated and his ashes were sent back to
Niagara Falls and his family where he will make his last trip, over
the Falls. Frank will be missed by his friends, family and his Old Buddy, J.Q.
