Janice Gail Roscoe, 74, of Two Harbors, passed away Oct. 23, 2012 peacefully at her home.
Janice was born Oct. 28 1937 In Two Harbors, Minn., to Eugene and Alma (Strand) Smith.
After Alma’s death she was raised by Joseph and Ruth (Cody) Strand. Janice was a life long homemaker.
Janice was a active member of the Eastern Star, Sons of Norway, Red Hat Society and Loyal Order of Moose. She enjoyed attending lodge, club and society functions, dining out, traveling, shopping and was a avid collector.
Preceding Janice in death were her parents; husband, John Roscoe; sons, Jeffery Roscoe, Joseph Roscoe, and infant son Randy Lee Mosley; brothers, Thomas Smith and Alfred Smith; and sister Mary Patricia Griffin.
Survivors include sons Mark (Maryann) Woodard of Omaha, Neb., and James Roscoe of Renton Wash.; brother-in-law Ronald (Darlene) Roscoe of Duluth; sister-in-law Dorothy (William) Bacon of Avoca, Minn.; grand-children Matthew Woodard of Omaha, Neb., Victorine (Dan) Allen of North Platte, Neb.; great grandchild Brandon Allen of North Platte; and many nieces and nephews.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at Fortitude Masonic Lodge 631 Second Avenue in Two Harbors with Karl Aho officiating. Lunch will be served after the service. Interment will be at a later date. The family respectfully requests for there to be no flowers. Memorials may be made to the Emera Chapter of the Eastern Star.
