Walter “Tod” Anderson, 82, of Two Harbors, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, in Lake View Memorial Hospital.
He was born to Walter and Dorothy (Morris) Anderson on July 17, 1930 in Two Harbors, where he was a life-long resident. Tod served in the Navy for four years during the Korean War, and returned home to work for the DM&IR Railroad in the Bridge and Building Department until 1963. He later worked as a welder for Abex Fiberglass and Northshore Steel.
Tod loved music and played 8 different instruments. He also enjoyed wood working and painting in acrylics.
Tod was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Cara Iverson.
He is survived by wife, Arlis; sisters, Margaret (Jim) Rindahl of Gig Harbor, Wash., Kathleen Anderson and June Juenemann both of Duluth; 6 nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
