Dorthea Ann Pederson, 84, of Silver Bay, Minn., died Tuesday, Sept. 25, in Duluth. She was born in Blackduck, Minn., on August 27, 1928, to Herbert and Meta Lindquist. She married Erling Pederson on September 23, 1950, and they raised their family in Silver Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Dorthea is survived by her children Steven (Kathy) of Winona, Scott (Sue) of Pequot Lakes, Jean (Steve ) Johnson of Windom, Joan (Jeff) Holter of Proctor, and Mark (Rachel) of Elk River; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., September 29, with a visitation one hour prior at Sychar Lutheran Church in Silver Bay, Minn.
