Ona Irene Heimstadt, 65, of Duluth, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, in St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Ona Irene Heimstadt, 65, of Duluth, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, in St. Mary’s Medical Center.
She was born in Duluth. Ona was owner and operator of Dixie Saloon and Deli in Two Harbors, Minn. She enjoyed wintering in Texas, and summers in Minnesota. She also enjoyed fishing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by a son, William.
Ona is survived by her significant other, Terry Hood, daughter, Paulette Heimstadt and grandson Allan Haigh.
A service will be held at a later date.
