Russell S. Bagge, 98, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, at home.

Russell S. Bagge, 98, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, at home.
He was born Oct. 6, 1913, to Eden and Hilda (Smith) Bagge in Maiden Rock, Wis. He moved to New Brighton at the age of three where he attended school. Russell worked for George Benz and Sons, Lull Engineering, and the Pine Bend school system. He retired and moved to Lutsen with his wife Rosalie in 1977, and to Two Harbors in July, 2000. Russell enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
Russell is survived by wife Rosalie; son Larry (Susan) of Shakopee; two daughters Pauline Bagge Gilbertson of Two Harbors and Linda (Gary) Bagge Olsen of Bismarck, N.D.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Russell Cameron; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
