Lollie B. Johnson, 95, of Two Harbors, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Ecumen Scenic Shores.
Lollie B. Johnson, 95, of Two Harbors, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Ecumen Scenic Shores.
She was born January 25, 1917, in Greene, Ala., to Tureheene E. and Ada Belle (Guest) Yancey. She was married to Edgar Johnson Sept. 11, 1943, in Keener, Ala., and moved to Two Harbors in 1947. In addition to raising her family, she and Edgar enjoyed camping and operated the HomeKraft Bakery for many years.
Lollie is preceded in death by her husband Edgar W. Johnson in 2002; daughter-in-law Gloria Johnson; brothers Willard, Willie V., Wilson and Edwin Yancey; sisters Kathleen Theys, Hazel Roebuck, Nadine Fanchier, and Estelle Grimes.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce and Ed (Lois); daughter Brenda (Mike) Jacobson all of Two Harbors; grandchildren, Todd, Eric, Terry, Ellie and Tracy Johnson, Jason, Kristi and Nathan Jacobson; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers T.E. (Rosemary) Yancey and Horace Yancey; brother-in-law Emmert (Dorothy) Johnson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, July 12 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors, followed by a graveside service in Lakeview Cemetery. To sign the online register book please visit www.cavallinfuneralhome.com.
