Dale Michael Anderson, 63, of Two Harbors died Monday, Feb. 27 at Bayshore Health Center with family by his side.
Dale was born in Two Harbors Dec. 14, 1948, to Rodney and Bernice Anderson.
He worked at the Two Harbors Recycle Center for more than 30 years. He met many good friends at the Knife River DAC which he attended years ago. Dale loved riding his electric cart around town and was known to occasionally cause traffic backups!
Dale was a funny, witty, kind man and will be greatly missed.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a former proud member of the Two Harbors Jaycees, as well as the American Legion and Loyal Order of the Moose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Timmy and Mark, sister in-law Cheryl, and special Uncle Herb Whiting.
Dale is survived by brothers Jerry (Cheryl) Anderson of Two Harbors, Ron Anderson of Atlanta, Ga., Dan Anderson of Duluth, and Shawn (Brenda) Anderson of Bemidji; sister Jan (Dave) Mudrovich of Woodinville, Wash.; loving nieces Vikki Vazeos, Heather Riley, and Jenna Anderson; nephews Kevin Anderson, and John and James Mudrovich; Uncle Adolph and Aunt Jeanne Whiting; his special Aunt Gwen Whiting who lit up his heart; and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Per Dale’s request, the family will have a private gathering to honor him at a later date.
