Gust T. Hendrickson

Gust T. Hendrickson, 92, Two Harbors, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, in St. Luke's Hospital.

He was born Oct. 29, 1919, to John and Anna Hendrickson in Larsmont, Minn.

He served in the CCC and then the Navy during WWII. He married Martha E. Johnson on Feb. 16, 1946, and they were married for 59 years until she passed away in 2005. He worked for the DM&IR Railroad and Reserve Mining.

He is survived by his son, Roger of Duluth; daughters Susan (Bruce) Wittern of Adel, Iowa, Carol (Thomas) Lamoureux of Champlin, Minn., and Gail (Warren) Hantz of Marquette, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16, at First Baptist Church in Two Harbors. To sign the online guestbook please go to www.cavallinfuneralhome.com.
