Margaret (Peggy) Rose Ryan
Margaret (Peggy) Rose Ryan of Two Harbors passed away December 27, 2011 at age 54.
Margaret (Peggy) Rose Ryan, March 10, 1957 to December 27, 2011, age 54 of Two Harbors, formerly of Lakeville. Peggy was the fourth daughter of Dorance and Kathleen Ryan.
Peggy is survived by her mother, Kathleen Ryan Tousignant; sisters Joni Ryan, Judi (Steve) Hawkins, and Patsy Ryan (Mark Zweber); brothers Jerry Ryan and Tom (Janet) Ryan; nieces and nephews Terri (Chris) Dill, Barry (Shannon) Lovelace, Ryan Lovelace, Katie Ringeisen, Kyle Ringeisen, Mackenzie (Al) Platt, Willie (Jenna) King, Nick Ryan, and Sami Ryan; nine great nieces and nephews; stepsisters Julianne (Roger) Keller, Carol (Dave) Harwell, Ellen (Dale) Leidner, Mary (Dave) Korthauer, Kathy (Mike) Goehring; and stepbrothers Jim (Darlene) Tousignant, and Mark Tousignant and their families.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dorance Ryan; stepfather, Ed Tousignant; and brothers-in-law Barry Lovelace and Brad King. She also leaves behind her much-loved poodle, Opal.
Peggy proudly served her country as a medic in the US Army. Following her discharge in 1985, she lived in Two Harbors, where for a time her home was in the historic lighthouse. Peggy was very hard working and was a skilled seamstress. Her many friends and relatives will always remember her bright blue eyes and sense of humor.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at The Lodge on Natchez, and the staff of Twin Cities Hospice.
A Memorial Mass was held at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Avenue, Lakeville, Friday, December 30 at 12 p.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the services at church. White Funeral Home Lakeville 952-469-2723 www.whitefuneralhomes.com
