Margaret Mockler
Margaret M. Mockler, 87, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Sunrise Home. Margaret was born in Ashland June 12, 1923, to Mary (Weiss) and James Mockler. She graduated in 1941 from DePadua High School.

Margaret was born in Ashland June 12, 1923, to Mary (Weiss) and James Mockler. She graduated in 1941 from DePadua High School.
Margaret moved to Rome, N.Y., to work at Griffiss Air Base, working there for 21 years. She retired in 1998 from Phillipson’s Army Navy Store after working there for 12 years.
She was an active bowler, and a talented knitter and crocheter.
She moved to Two Harbors in 2006 to be near her family.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; brother Richard; sisters, Rosemary Dienberg and Kathleen Saari; and nephew, William Saari.
She is survived by a sister, Noreen Jackson, Two Harbors; nephews and nieces; great nephews and nieces; and great-great nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial begins at 11 a.m. Saturday with visitation at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Two Harbors. Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Ashland.
