Roger L. Johnson, 68, of Silver Bay passed away Aug. 23, 2010, after a brief battle with cancer.
Roger L. Johnson, 68, of Silver Bay passed away Aug. 23, 2010, after a brief battle with cancer.
He attended grade and secondary school in Cumberland, Wis. Upon moving to Silver Bay in 1957, he joined the first graduating class of William Kelley High School.
After graduating he began a long career of 23 years working at Reserve Mining.
When not working, Roger enjoyed several activities, including archery, diving, hunting, fishing, and coin collecting.
Roger was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Margaret Johnson; and wife, Susan.
He is survived by son, Bill Johnson; daughter, Theresa Johnson; brother, George Johnson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life begins at 3 p.m. Sept. 8 at Silver Bay Lounge.
