Pauline Louise Lindholm McCutchen died Dec. 17 in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born Sept. 12, 1924, to Evald and Selma Lindholm in Two Harbors where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1942.
Pauline Louise Lindholm McCutchen died Dec. 17 in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born Sept. 12, 1924, to Evald and Selma Lindholm in Two Harbors where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1942.
After graduation she moved to Minneapolis, where she worked as one of the original Rosie the Riveters. She enjoyed all types of hand work, knitting, crocheting, reading, fishing and target shooting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clark, and sister Lu. She is survived by son, Allen; grandchildren Cory and Jodi; great grandson Cameron; brother Bob (LaVerne) of Ely; sisters Lois (Ed) Johnson of Two Harbors; Anne Smith of Campbell Calif.; Ruth (John) Erickson of Two Harbors; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service begins at 2 p.m. Sunday at United Church.
