Harriet B. Keller, 89, Two Harbors, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7. She was born in Duluth toCarl and Bertha Olsen Oct. 4, 1920.

Harriet B. Keller, 89, Two Harbors, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7. She was born in Duluth to Carl and Bertha Olsen Oct. 4, 1920.

Harriet was a 1939 graduate of Denfeld High School. She attended the Duluth State Teachers College and also graduated from the Young and Hursh Business College. Harriet was then employed by Western National Bank in Duluth as a cashier.

She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and served as the piano accompanist for the choir for about 14 years. She also was a substitute organist. She was also the accompanist for the local Instrumental Musicians of Duluth.

She was later a member of the Behtlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. In 1948, she married Bert C. Keller and left Duluth to live in Two Harbors, where she was employed by Daniel Gualtieri, D.D.S.

She joined the Voyageur Artists and served as its treasurer. She enjoyed water color painting, hand crafts, and guest artists’ presentations. Harriet loved her family and grandchildren and had fun on camping, fishing, and hunting trips on vacations.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Williams R. Olsen, Melvin Olsen, and Alf Olsen; and grandson, Jamie Olson. She is survived by her husband, Bert, of Two Harbors; two daughters, Sheryl Keller, and Sandra Tufto; son, Stephen; nine grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation begins at noon today until a 1 p.m. service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Burialwill be at Lakeview Cemetery.
