Ruth M. Boggie, 98, of Harbors, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Sunrise Home in Two Harbors.
Ruth M. Boggie, 98, of Harbors, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Sunrise Home in Two Harbors.
She was born March 20, 1911, to Jess and Emma (Linn) Boggie in Maiden Rock, Wis.
She grew up in Minneapolis and attended Nokomis Schools.
She lived in St. Paul, where she managed bakeries, worked at St. Paul Ramsey Hospital for 11 years, and International Harvester for 10 years.
She retired in 1973 and moved to Two Harbors in 1983.
Ruth enjoyed animals, plants, camping, playing piano, and singing.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hazel Greisen and Inez Johnson; and brother, Carl Boggie.
She is survived by her brother, Ray (Gretchen) Boggie; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Boggie of Two Harbors; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Tuesday at Cavallin Funeral Home. Burial was at Lakeview Cemetery.
