Tennille, a mixed breed puppy, on Wednesday licks the face of her new owner, Adam Borchert, who is a Lake County Sheriff’s deputy. While at the Animal Allies Humane Society Superior shelter, Tennille set off the alarm system while chewing through wires at the shelter Tuesday night, causing the Superior Police Department to respond to the resulting 911 call.
