Warren Symons (left), 86, and Allen Thorngren, 86, both of Silver Bay, demonstrate how they leaned on each other for physical support as they walked through the woods near Finland after their truck became stuck in the mud on a logging road. The lifelong friends were out for their usual weekend drive when they became stranded and walked an estimated 12 miles looking for help before being found early Monday morning.
