A crew from the Minnesota Department of Transport-ation surveyed damage at Silver Creek Wednesday morning on Minnesota Highway 61 north of Two Harbors, just before the Silver Cliff tunnel. Conditions on the main highway along the North Shore are tenuous, with roadsides washed away at nearly every stream and river and debris littering the aprons.
