Moose tracking


Minnesota Department of Natural Resources wildlife veternarian Erika Butler prepared a syringe to wake up a tranquillized moose this past January north of Two Harbors.The male moose was tranquilized for about an hour and ran off into the woods soon after being given the reversal shot. State agencies have been studying moose population declines for several years, espeically in the northwest parts of the state.
