Current and former taconite workers in the Silver Bay area will get a letter like this one if they are expected to take part in a study that moved to the city this month. The University of Minnesota study is based on random sampling. Those who are not contacted to participate should talk with a doctor about being tested for mesothelioma or other lung problems.
