Lake Superior Community Theatre had its annual scene painting workshop and it was a “resounding success,” director Paul Deaner said. There were more than 40 participants led by professional scene painters Ann Gumpper, Wendy Waszut-Barrett, above, with Silver Bay student Christine Greer, and artist Annie Andrus. Waszut-Barrett, who holds a doctorate in theater set design, also designed the set for “Little Shop of Horrors,” another “first” for LSCT which traditionally leases sets.
