STELLA MINNIE SORBO
She was born September 14, 1930 in Alden (Freeborn County), Minnesota to Haakon and Alma (Thompson) Hanson. She attended District #16 rural school through the sixth grade, graduated from Freeborn High School in 1948, and attended Mankato State Teachers College for two years.
