My family always made Mojakka with Lake Trout cheeks. Dad would get trout heads from Kenny Hanson in Knife River. Its a lot like New England clam chowder, though it is thinner. It was a combination of my Norwegian side and the Finnish side. Trout cheeks are the best meat on the fish.
