I would like to see an accounting from the county on the total dollars it has spent to date on the Broadband project, and any additional amounts accrued for future payment (via the proposed revenue bonding) against the anticipation of having received the first round loans and grants from the federal government. Then, how much additional spending/accruals are anticipated in order to go after monies in the "second round". What happens if the Broadband funds are denied in the second round? How will taxpayers be impacted to date and in the future if the funding is denied?
