Faces & Names: Betty's Pies pie on inaugural menu

The Great Lakes Fruit Pie from Betty’s Pies in Two Harbors will have the honor of being dished up as inauguration food Monday.

Minnesotans in Washington, D.C., for the Inauguration of President Obama are invited to an open house hosted by U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, where they can taste the pie along with other dishes from Minnesota. Klobuchar visited Betty’s Pies during a stop in Two Harbors.

The restaurant has been open since 1958, when it was converted from a fish shack.
