Constance Margaret Wilson, 92, of Silver Bay, died Tuesday, June 4, in Lake View Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 10, 1920, to Walter and Margaret (Kowalski) Gralewski in Duluth, and lived on the family homesteaded in Cramer, where she grew up. Connie attended schools in Two Harbors, Cramer, and Finland. She married William Wilson on January 12, 1952, and they lived in Two Harbors until moving to Silver Bay in 1955. Connie was a homemaker through the years and was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church and was a past President of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She and her dear friends, Earldyne and Donna, “The Three Stooges of Silverpointe Apartments,” later joined by JoAnn, spent many evenings watching The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, Minnesota Twins, Vikings, and Wild games on Earldyne’s sofa. Her family was her greatest joy. Her gentle ways and guiding spirit will be with us always.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, William Wilson in 1996, brothers, John and Jim Gralewski, and great-granddaughters, Angela and Emma.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Bill (Deb) Wilson of Two Harbors; daughters, Mary (Tom) Ferguson of Cottage Grove, Virginia (Arne) Keifenheim of St. Francis, Connie (Bob) Neborak of Waconia, and Sharon (Dave) Bishop of Owatonna; grandchildren, Kristin, Eric, Katie, Brad, Brian, Andy, Julie, Troy, Billy, Janie, Brandon, Mandy, Codie, and Samantha ; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Ryan, Graham, Charlie, Miah, and Dominic.
