Minnesota Crime Wave
The Crime Spree continues at the Two Harbors Public Library! This time, mystery authors William Kent Krueger, Carl Brookins, and Ellen Hart will be passing through. Join us at the United Church of Two Harbors promptly at 7:00 p.m. for a frighteningly good time. As well as a chance to interrogate these suspiciously good authors, we will have a book sale and signing, and even a little game of “Spot the Imposter” for a chance to win a free book. Best of all, this whole event is free thanks to a grant from the Minnesota Book Awards!
This year’s summer reading programs have begun. Stop by the library and sign-up early to maximize your chances at winning the big prizes. Adults are competing for gift cards to Anderson’s Greenhouse and Florist and Blackwoods Restaurant; teens are competing for gift cards to Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and ShopKo; and children are competing for lots of prizes, including a planetarium projector, a Lego creator set, a construction cars set, a play tent, and a friendship bracelets kit.
