Oreo is a spayed female cat at the Lake County Animal Shelter. She came in as a stray a few months ago and had been on her own for quite some time. Oreo was very thin when she came to the shelter, probably because she has been declawed, making it almost impossible for her to hunt or protect herself. Oreo is an independent cat, and would do best in a home without other cats. She is fine with people, although she is happiest to wander about and explore her surroundings on her own. She loves canned cat food and has filled out nicely since being at the shelter. She is up to date on her vaccinations and ready for adoption. If you would like to see Oreo or any of the other pets, please stop by the Lake County Animal Shelter at 415 20th Avenue in Two Harbors. Our Open House hours are Monday thru Friday 9-11 a.m., Wednesday 4-6 p.m., and Saturday 1-3 p.m. For more information call 218-834-5806.
