An exhibit of drawings and sketches by Silver Bay artist Rodney Ludloph is now on display through March 25 at the Vanilla Bean Café in Two Harbors.
Ludloph has been drawing since early childhood. With encouragement from family and friends, and his high school art teacher, Mr. Meyer, Rodney became more serious about his artwork, and has created drawings that intrigue those who view his work. His favorite medium is ink, although he has done some work using watercolor. Characters that Rodney reads about or sees in movies are the inspiration for his own creations of abstract, fantasy characters.
A 2005 graduate of William Kelley High School, Ludloph has also exhibited his work at the Whole Foods Co-op in Duluth.”
The Vanilla Bean, located on Highway 61 in Two Harbors, is open daily at 7 a.m.
