Seeking Meals on Wheels volunteers!
Can you give an hour or more per week to make sure your neighbors have a hot meal? Community Partners is looking for volunteers to deliver Meals on Wheels. Volunteers Needed for the Arrowhead Area Office on Aging.
Are you interested in a volunteer position with the Arrowhead Office on Aging? The AAA has openings for the following positions:
• At least one Senior Linkage Line volunteer to help individuals make informed decisions about their Medicare and other health insurance coverage, complete forms, and connect them with available resources
• Two Living Well with Chronic Conditions Leaders in Silver Bay or Two Harbors to facilitate groups of people with chronic health conditions in developing practical skills and positive attitudes toward their condition, which will allow them to take control of and responsibility for their health.
• At least one Matter of Balance Coach to help older adults stay "up right" by discussing habits and attitudes toward falling, physical activity and their environment.
• At least one Powerful Tools for Caregivers Leader to help caregivers thrive rather than survive as they provide care to a loved one. Teach self-care behaviors and how to manage difficult emotions in order to increase caregiver confidence in coping with the demands of caregiving.
