Slippery roads led to several accidents around the region this morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported two one-vehicle rollovers; one on Interstate 35 near Midway round and the other near the intersection of U.S. Highway 53 and Minnesota Highway 33. Officials in Douglas County reported at least one accident outside of Superior.
There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.
Roads could become slippery again tonight as rain will mix will and change to snow across Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin.
Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches of snow are possible north of a line between Cass Lake and Two Harbors, according to the Duluth office of the National Weather Service, which has issued a hazardous weather outlook for region. Because there is uncertainty over the exact track of the low-pressure system, accumulations of snow may occur farther south.
