Suspects sought in vending machine vandalism in Lakewood Township

A male and female caused an estimated $1,500 of damage to a Coke machine Sunday morning, authorities said.

A male suspect and his female accomplice are being sought after the two allegedly attempted to break into a vending machine early Sunday in Lakewood Township.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, the two caused an estimated $1,500 of damage to a Coke machine at 5:30 a.m. at the pay-at-the-pump Sinclair gas station located at 2319 Hwy 61 between Duluth and Two Harbors.

Anyone who recognizes the male suspect from the attached photos or has information about the incident is asked to contact the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office at (218) 336-4347.
