Peter Bugge, 72, of Two Harbors, died January 18 in Tucson, Ariz., after a long battle with leukemia. He grew up in Knife River in a commercial fishing family. He loved boats and fishing all his life.
He joined the Marine Corps in 1958. In 1961 he married Sandra Reinertsen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Sophie (Merbach) Bugge and sisters, Gayle Faughnan and Marlene Marble.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two sons, Thomas and Daniel(Shana); beloved granddaughter, Aurora; one brother, Leroy (Delores) of Milwaukee; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
