Carolyn Peterson, 86, of Kankakee, Il., formerly of Two Harbors, passed away on Jan. 17, at ManorCare Health Services in Kankakee.
She was born September 22, 1926 in Two Harbors, the daughter of Olaf and Nettie Johnson. Her husband, Alf D. Peterson, preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Edgar O. and Walter I. Johnson and sisters, Mable Hermans and Alice Green. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no services and burial will be at a later date at Lake View Cemetery in Two Harbors.
