Interact leaves its legacy
By: From Lisa Knight, Two Harbors High School, Lake County News Chronicle
Last year, the Two Harbors High School Interact Club decided to take on a legacy project. Every year, the North Shore Rotary Club gives us an opportunity to use $500 for a project that would benefit our school. We thought that a digital picture frame would be a valuable asset to our school and community. It could be a way to showcase events in our school to members of the community. There is so much that happens at our school! In addition, we felt that we could put announcements on it for students during the day. It has been installed for about a month now, and it has done exactly as we hoped. The current slideshow contains pictures from fall sports, anti-bullying messages, and sports schedules. This project will become more and more exciting as we have more pictures to put on the flash drive.
We want to thank the staff at THHS who helped us put this project into place.
THHS Interact Club is a service club affiliated with North Shore Rotary. We meet every Tuesday at 1:07 in the community room in THHS. All students are welcome.
