Sales of popsicles, sandals and bug repellant may be down in Lake County, but some items are flying off the shelves. Mick Johnson of Two Harbors purchases a battery for his car on Monday from Christian Bakken at Auto Value in Two Harbors. Bakken said that two of every three customers were buying batteries, and that sales were also good for block heaters and isopropyl.
