Matt Taintor, M.D., graduate of William Kelley High School has joined the medical staff at the SEARHC S’áxt’ Hít Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital in Sitka, Alaska. In addition to providing care for families in Sitka, Taintor flies to Admiralty Island for one week out of each month to care for the people of the Angoon Village.

Sitka is a city of in south eastern Alaska, 170 miles south west of Juneau.

Taintor earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Utah. While at the U of M, Taintor was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He lives in Alaska with his wife and children.
