You can help

Seeking able bodied book mover!

The crew of volunteers who manage the donated books for the Friends of the Library is looking for someone to assist with transferring books from the library to storage for the annual book sale. Volunteers must have the ability to lift boxes of books (not too large) and a vehicle to move books to storage a couple of blocks from the library. Transfer of books to be scheduled as needed, usually not more than once or twice a month.

Food Shelf Volunteers Needed!

The Two Harbors Food Shelf is looking for volunteers to assist in the operation of the food shelf. Duties will be tailored to ability and interest. The food shelf is currently open every Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. However, some volunteer jobs are not necessarily in that time frame or on that day.

For information on either of these opportunities, contact Jan at RSVP/NVC at 834-2539.

If your nonprofit is looking for volunteers, e-mail chronicle@lcnewschronicle.com or call 834-2141 to let us know.
