We recently got some beautiful white snow and it is looking like winter. Hope you all had a great holiday celebrating with friends and relatives.

Congratulations go out to Fred and Jen Firkell in the birth of their baby girl. Eliora Ruth was born on Friday, Dec. 28, weighing in at 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 19 1/2” long. Proud grandparents are Jim and Donna Blomberg.

Also congratulations to Michael and Karen Sinderman. They announced they are having a baby, Graylan James Sinderman to be born on May 12, 2013.

Happy New Year to you all. I hope we have a brighter 2013 in our communities and that the year is good to all of you.

Editor’s note: Congratulations also go out to Verna and Jim Sinderman who will be grandparents to their first grandchild, Graylan James.
