Letter to the editor: Silver Bay's glowing future

My vision for Silver Bay in the next year is to first continue to build on and support the projects we have started. Our Eco Park Greenhouse project has come to fruition and we are now prepared to continue with the next phase,We have designed and are gathering information on developing a city campground, along with several other ideas.

My first year as Mayor will be, initially, planning. I intend to have several strategy meetings, so as to come up with the most economical, efficient way to complete and create these projects and more.

With Silver Bay's outstanding city council, administration, employees, many board members and incredible citizens, I believe Silver Bay is on the right track in growing our city and anything is possible when we put our heads together.

I see myself as a "peoples’" Mayor. My phone is always on and my door is always open. Having lived here all of my life, I see Silver Bay as a hidden jewel. We have uncovered it and now we have to enable it to shine as it was intended to.
